York Knights and Hull FC have named their squads for Thursday night’s Super League clash, which will kick off Round 18 of the competition.
Both sides come into the game off of very different Magic Weekend performances. York defeated Huddersfield to claim back-to-back wins for the first time this season, whilst FC were defeated by Hull KR.
The Black and Whites had a chance to take the spoils given that the game was level at 12-12 after an hour, but an error from Lewis Martin allowed Jai Whitbread in for an easy try, and from that moment the Robins took complete control.
The pair both have a five-day turnaround so fatigue and fitness will be key on Thursday night. FC have made three changes ahead of their trip to North Yorkshire, as one forward make a long-awaited comeback after suspension.

York Knights v Hull FC squad news
The Knights remain unchanged from last week’s squad that travelled to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Half-back Cody Hunter is eligble to play this week after escaping a ban from the Match Review Panel, whilst hooker Denive Balmforth is allowed to feature against his parent club.
Yusuf Aydin comes back into contention after completing his six-match ban for a tip tackle in the defeat to Bradford Bulls. He replaces Jeremiah Mata’utia, who has left to club to re-join parent club Leeds Rhinos after nine matches on loan.
Davy Litten failed a HIA in the defeat to the Robins, so there is a swap in the back line with Harvey Barron returning in his place.
Another boost for Last sees Ethan O’Neill return from the Rhinos, after a minor hamstring injury saw him briefly return to Headingley. He replaces young hooker Will Hutchinson.
