Hull FC take on London Broncos in the opening game of Super League’s Magic Weekend with pride at stake in the bottom-of-the-table clash.
A loss for Hull FC would see London pull level on six points and lead to yet more questions about London’s seemingly pre-determined relegation under the IMG gradings.
It would also pile pressure on to Hull FC who have won just three times this season, once against the Broncos, but never away from home which doesn’t bode well for them ahead of the clash at Elland Road.
London were unlucky against Warrington Wolves last week and had landed the upset win over Catalans Dragons the week before but just like Hull FC, they’re yet to win away from home.
Could it be that this third meeting between these two sides is just the second draw of the season? The team news for each side can be seen below.
Hull FC Team News
Simon Grix has made five changes to his Hull FC squad with three players returning from suspension. They are Ligi Sao, Brad Fash and Jordan Lane whilst Ed Chamberlain also returns after passing through the concussion protocols.
The other returnee is Jack Ashworth after his ankle issue and those five additions to the squad mean that Tiaki Chan, Lennon Bursell, Will Kirby, Will Hutchinson and Ryan Westerman all drop out.
Despite the five returns being a major boost, Hull are still without Liam Sutcliffe (foot), Jake Trueman (calf), Danny Houghton (calf), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Davy Litten (knee) Nick Staveley (knee), Charlie Severs (shoulder), and King Vuniyayawa (ankle).

London Broncos Team News
Mike Eccles has made just one change to his 21-man squad with Jensen Monk replacing Matt Davies. It means there is no return for Jack Hughes who dropped out the week prior alongside Monk.
There could be a return for Emmanuel Waine who was announced as a Bradford Bulls signing for 2025 last night with the Papua New Guinean powerhouse returning to the 21-man squad last week but only featuring for London’s reserves.
Bill Leyland remains out for the season after his ACL injury but London looks set to remain relatively unchanged given their good health and good form.
