David Armstrong has been passed fit to play for Leigh Leopards against Hull FC at the MKM Stadium this evening.
Armstrong missed last week’s clash with Catalans Dragons through illness and hasn’t trained at all this week as a result. However, the full-back, who has starred for the Leopards since joining from Newcastle Knights, has been passed fit to play in this evening’s clash.
It comes as a huge boost for Leigh, who are looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the new Super League season. It means Bailey Hodgson moves back to the wing, and AJ Towse drops down the 18th man.
Robbie Mulhern drops out of the fold through injury with Jack Hughes stepping into the front-row and that opens up the space for Andrew Badrock to make his debut in the back-row. Alec Tuitavake is fit to play after picking up a slight knock, he starts on the bench.
Liam Knight looks set to make his debut for the Black and Whites after joining the club earlier this week. He’s on the bench with Will Hutchinson, who deputises for hooker Amir Bourouh.
Jed Cartwright starts, with Ed Chamberlain dropping out of the fold with a head knock.
