Hull FC vs Castleford Tigers: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

After spoiling Daryl Powell’s return to Castleford, former Hull FC boss and now Cas boss Lee Radford will be hoping for a happier return to the MKM Stadium.

It’s a game that in some ways could virtually secure the Tigers’ status in the top six, maybe even the top five as it could enable them to open up a four point gap on the chasing pack.

One of the chasing pack is of course Hull FC who simply can’t afford to lose more ground in the race.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage starts at 19:30 on Sky Sports Arena.

Predicted Line-ups

Hull FC
After weeks of doing it tough, things are finally starting to look up for Hull FC in terms of who they have available. Yes they’ve lost Chris Satae and Josh Griffin but the returns of Kane Evans, Ligi Sao and Connor Wynne more than fill the holes left by that duo. The big return is of course Jake Connor but the question is where will he play? Will he return to his fullback role at the expense of Jack Walker or will he move into the halves which will see Joe Lovodua drop to the bench as an impact sub.

36 Jack Walker
37 Josh Simm
25 Miteli Vulikijapani
23 Connor Wynne
5 Darnell McIntosh
1 Jake Connor
7 Luke Gale
8 Ligi Sao
9 Danny Houghton
16 Kane Evans
13 Jordan Lane
38 Ellis Longstaff
17 Brad Fash
Substitutes
14 Joe Lovodua
20 Jack Brown
21 Jordan Johnstone
30 Scott Taylor

Castleford Tigers
The Tigers have lost two of the starting 17 who downed Warrington last week with Niall Evalds injured and Cheyse Blair suspended. The former will likely re replaced by Jason Qareqare who did a superb job off the bench in that role last week. His spot on the bench will likely go to Adam Milner who missed out last week. As for the centre spot vacated by Blair, that’ll likely go to Jake Mamo. Greg Eden will remain in the halves.

33 Jason Qareqare
5 Bureta Faraimo
4 Jake Mamo
17 Mahe Fonua
2 Derrell Olpherts
23 Greg Eden
7 Danny Richardson
15 George Griffin
9 Paul McShane
10 George Lawler
11 Kenny Edwards
37 Alex Mellor
13 Joe Westerman
Substitutes
12 Adam Milner
21 Alex Sutcliffe
22 Daniel Smith
25 Suaia Matagi
