In a much-anticipated rematch following their controversial league game last week, Hull and Wigan do battle in the quarter-final of the Challenge Cup as the pair look to take another step closer to Wembley.
Hull are without a number of the men who ran Wigan close at the DW last Thursday. Both Jake Connor and Brad Fash are missing through suspension whilst Scott Taylor is absent having picked up a foot injury against the Warriors. Josh Bowden, Masi Matongo and Jamie Shaul remain unavailable through injury whilst Bureta Faraimo is still suspended. The good news for the Black and Whites is the return of Josh Reynolds and Manu Ma’u. The latter’s return should take the pressure of Hull’s stretched forward pack.
The Warriors are of course without Tony Clubb following his eight-match suspension. He joins Thomas Leuluai, Liam Marshall, Jai Field, and Oliver Gildart on the side lines all of whom are injured. One man returning from injury is Dom Manfredi. The winger’s return could allow Liam Farrell to return to the pack.
