Hull FC target unsure on future

Nathan Peats has been linked with a move to Hull FC in recent months, but he told Serious About Rugby League that nothing has been done just yet.

The wily hooker joined Leigh Centurions midway through the 2021 Super League season and then moved on to Huddersfield Giants later on, where he impressed greatly in the 12 games he played for the West Yorkshire outfit.

However, Peats was rumoured to be joining Hull FC, but when asked by Serious About Rugby League, the 31-year-old said that isn’t the case.

“I’m still waiting to sort my future out,” said Peats.

“I’m not sure what’s going to happen yet, but I’d like to stay in Super League if someone wants me!”

The hooker initially joined the Centurions from the Gold Coast Titans after making over 150 NRL appearances for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Parramatta Eels and then the Titans, but he failed to settle at the Leigh Sports Village.

Hull FC, however, have already signed hooker Joe Lovodua from South Sydney Rabbitohs which may well have signalled the end of their interest in the Australian.
