Hull FC star documents his recovery from serious operation

Hull FC’s Connor Wynne missed the last game of the club’s season through injury, but now appears to be on the road to recovery following an operation.

Wynne – primarily a fullback – has taken to Instagram to post his operation success.

The 20-year-old said: “Surgery done and all good! Road to recovery now ✅ See you all in 2022 ⚫️⚪️ “. The caption accompanied a photo of Wynne laid in a hospital bed.

The season could not exactly have finished much worse for the Black and Whites with nine losses from their final ten games bringing the curtain down on yet another disappointing year.

Since then, head coach Brett Hodgson and owner Adam Pearson have banged their heads together in a bid to improve the squad which has seen the likes of Andre Savelio and Josh Griffin re-sign, whilst Fijian international Joe Lovodua has made the move.
