Hull FC signing records truly impressive speed in fitness test as club provide behind the scenes look at pre-season

Hull FC have a new look spine in 2023 with Leeds Rhinos hooker Brad Dwyer, Castleford Tigers halfback and Newcastle Knights duo Jake Clifford and Tex Hoy who together make an exciting foursome who could have a huge impact on Super League next year.

Of course two of them arrive from Australia and from the same club so already have a good relationship in the shape of Clifford and Hoy.

Fullback Hoy has been outspoken about his excited by the new challenge as he said on Hull FC’s Twitter page:

 

He certainly has begun adjusting to his surroundings taking on the VO2 Max Test.

As shared on Hull FC’s social media platforms, this is a run on a treadmill where the speed increases whilst a mask measure aerobic capacity.

Hoy latest all the way up to 18.9 kilometres per hour which is around 12 mph, a truly impressive effort from the new Hull FC man.
