Hull FC have a new look spine in 2023 with Leeds Rhinos hooker Brad Dwyer, Castleford Tigers halfback and Newcastle Knights duo Jake Clifford and Tex Hoy who together make an exciting foursome who could have a huge impact on Super League next year.

Of course two of them arrive from Australia and from the same club so already have a good relationship.

Tex Hoy has been in the country this week meanwhile Jake Clifford set off to the UK this morning.

Hoy revealed when speaking to Hull FC’s Twitter page that he has been on contact with Clifford this week:

“Definitely, I am in contact with him. He’s been asking me what it has been like training over in Hull.

“He’s excited to come over, I told him to expect to be cold and differences, but it will be good to experience a new country with him and it would be good to have someone to take around and have a look around.

“It will be good when he’s here and settled in.”

Meanwhile, Hoy is excited by the new challenge:
