Hull FC head coach Brett Hodgson reveals forward can improve

Hull FC last night revealed that forward Andre Savelio had signed a new two-year deal that will see him stay at the MKM Stadium until at least the end of the 2023 season.

The 26-year-old has become an integral part of the Black and Whites’ set-up in recent seasons and has been rewarded for his good form in 2021.

For that, head coach Brett Hodgson was undoubtedly happy with tying down Savelio for another two years, but also called on him to improve.

“We’ve seen Andre show his true potential at stages throughout the season, and when he plays well, the team tends to play well, Hodgson told hullfc.com.

“He is a talented English forward whose best years are ahead of him. He knows what he needs to work on to improve and find consistency in his game and we’re keen to help him develop over the next couple of years.”
