Hull FC head coach Brett Hodgson names new halfback partnership

The Black & Whites will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Richard Agar’s side this evening in the Betfred Super League Round 5 clash.

Hodgson has made three changes to the side which faced Castleford Tigers last Sunday, with Mitieli Vulikijapani coming onto the wing, while Joe Cator and Josh Bowden are named on the bench.

Joe Lovodua and Ben McNamara start at halfback in the absence of Luke Gale and Josh Reynolds.

Cator will make his first appearance of the season having recovered from a ruptured Achilles suffered in last August’s Hull Derby at the MKM Stadium.

Connor Wynne (elbow), Josh Reynolds (elbow), and Jordan Lane (back) all drop out through injury.

Hull remain without Carlos Tuimavave (hamstring), Manu Ma’u (hamstring), Cameron Scott (foot), Jacob Hookem (foot), and Scott Taylor (foot), as well as Luke Gale who will serve the third match of a five game suspension.
