Hull FC fans make their feelings known following Leeds Rhinos thrashing

It really couldn’t have gone much worse for Hull FC this afternoon against Leeds Rhinos.

Despite being down just 16-10 at one stage in the first-half and then 22-16 in the second-half, Hull capitulated as Leeds ran in a remarkable 11 tries to thrash the Black and Whites, 62-16 at the MKM Stadium.

Much was made in the build-up to the fixture with Hull having to make do without Luke Gale, Adam Swift and Manu Ma’u with Joe Lovodua and Jacob Hookem starting in the halves.

And, for the most part the duo didn’t look too bad, but it was on the defensive side of things that seriously let the Black and Whites down.

Hull started the game sixth in the Super League table with Castleford Tigers leapfrogging them after their brilliant victory over Huddersfield Giants last night and FC were just second best throughout against Leeds.

And, it seems that FC fans were unhappy with the result.

One supporter tweeted: “Thank God its over.”

Another Hull supporter said: “Carnage absolute carnage.”

One more supporter tweeted: “Absolutely Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!! Something needs to change wether it’s players or the coach but these results are embarrassing. Yes we’ve got injuries but the players that are taking to the field are well capable of winning a game like todays.”

Another did manage to see a silver lining…somehow: “At least we scored… Yaaaaah Silver clouds anaul that.”

One fan certainly didn’t enjoy their birthday: “Can we not play on my birthday again please.”

A different neutral fan was confused with the scoreline: “Gobsmacked at this result. What’s going on at Hull?”
