Hull FC have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2025 season after overhauling their squad with new signings.
The Black and Whites had a torrid 2024 campaign but they’ve signed plenty of players in a bid to turn around their fortunes. They will also have new coach John Cartwright in charge for 2025 whilst familiar face Andy Last returns as an assistant.
A recent financial takeover was confirmed wit Adam Pearson handing control of the club over to signify the start of a new era and it’s certainly one characterised by new signings.
Among the new recruits, seven take shirt numbers within the starting 13, albeit Ed Chamberlain was on loan with the club late in the 2024 season.
There is a completely new look spine with shirts one, six, seven, nine and even, thirteen, all being donned by a different player than in the 2024 season which showcases the huge overhaul that has been undertaken at the MKM Stadium.
Hull FC hand out new shirt numbers with new-look spine assembled
Occupying those spine shirt numbers are Jordan Rapana (one), Jordan Abdull (six), Aidan Sezer (seven), Amir Bourouh (nine) and John Asiata (thirteen). Meanwhile, fellow spine utility Cade Cust takes number fourteen.
Seeing how Abdull and Sezer operate in their respective positions will be interesting throughout the season with former Hull KR and Hull FC man Abdull playing some of his best rugby at seven, instead of six.
Zak Hardaker takes the number three shirt and is next to former Leigh teammate Ed Chamberlain (four) whilst Oliver Holmes has been handed number 15.
Star winger Lewis Martin wears number 22 with fellow youngster Harvey Barron taking the number two shirt instead. Another former Leigh man in Tom Briscoe wears five.

That’s a thin looking squad, given the injury troubles of Hull FC squads in recent years this team is going to struggle. Bottom four.
