Hull FC have confirmed two pre-season friendlies.
The first sees the Black and Whites journey over to Sheffield to take on a new look Sheffield Eagles side on January 22nd.
The Eagles have made some major signings such as the arrival of Jesse Sene-Lefao. The former Castleford Tigers forward joins the club from Featherstone Rovers whilst the club has also signed exciting Leeds Rhinos youngster Joe Hird.
They will host Hull FC with kick-off at 15:00.
Then two weeks later on 5th February they go to Belle Vue to take on Wakefield Trinity.
Trinity are at the start of a new era with Mark Applegarth taking over from Willie Poching.
They have also signed exciting halfback Morgan Smith and forward Kevin Proctor.
This clash kicks off at 14:00.
Like Wakefield and Sheffield, Hull FC are at the start of a new era.
These fixtures will be the first two fixtures under the guide of new boss and former Leeds Rhinos & Warrington Wolves boss Tony Smith.
It will also be his first games since leaving Hull KR.
Meanwhile, the club has brought in some big players like Liam Sutcliffe and Brad Dwyer from Leeds Rhinos as well as ex-Castleford Tigers halfback Jake Trueman.
These games could also see the debut of former Newcastle Knights duo Jake Clifford and Tex Hoy.
Hull FC start the season proper against Castleford Tigers before a trip to take on Tony Smith’s Nephew Rohan’s Leeds Rhinos side.
