Hull FC interim coach Andy Last has commented on speculation linking a couple of his stars away from the club.
Davy Litten and Herman Ese’ese have been rumoured to be departing the MKM Stadium at the end of the season, despite both being contracted to the club long-term.
Centre Litten, who is signed up until the end of 2028, has reportedly had interest from Wakefield Trinity, with FC accepting a six-figure bid from Daryl Powell’s side, per LoveRugbyLeague.
It was widely rumoured and spoken about that Trinity wanted St Helens prospect Harry Robertson, though that speculation is now dead in the water.
It is clear that Trinity would like a new centre for 2027, with Litten their latest target.
However, the interim boss has revealed he has no knowledge of that rumour, and declined to comment on any potential exit.
“I can’t tell you anything on that,” he told BBC Radio Humberside. “I’ve had nothing from the club to confirm or deny that, so I don’t want to speculate.”
Litten has missed out on selection this week, with Last revealing that the academy product has a “grade one ligament tear in his ankle.”
The injury sounds worse than it actually is, with Hull hoping that he will be back available to face Castleford next week, depending on how he responds to treatment.

Another man who was linked with a move away is Herman Ese’ese, who is tied down until the end of 2029.
After missing out last week and having some poor performances since returning from injury, he was linked with an early exit.
“Again, I can’t confirm or give you any clarity on that,” Last said on the future of the former NRL forward.
