Richie Myler has confirmed that he would love to take Hull FC to Las Vegas in the coming years, but nothing is set in stone yet.
The Black and Whites are known to have put their hands up to be involved in this year’s event at the Allegiant Stadium and while they were overlooked, the expectation as it stands is that Hull will be a part of the event in 2027.
Hull are understood to have met with organisers of the event within the last year and the NRL have made it clear that they are keen to see Super League teams involved in the Vegas venture down the line following on from the success of 2025 which saw Warrington Wolves take on Wigan Warriors.
Of course, Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos will be a part of this year’s event with KR making the journey in the days following their World Club Challenge clash against Brisbane Broncos. Leeds, on the other hand, are one of Super League’s most successful clubs. With Willie Peters and Brad Arthur at the helm of the two clubs, too, their inclusion certainly appeals to an Australian audience in 2026.

The NRL have a five-year agreement with Las Vegas for the event, and as it stands, all signs point to Hull FC being selected to take on St Helens, who also expressed an interest this year, at the home of Las Vegas Raiders in 2027.
However, while Myler has outlined his desire to see the Black and Whites be a part of such an event in the coming years, the CEO insists nothing has been organised or confirmed just yet.
“Currently not, no,” Myler said at the Hull FC fans’ forum on Wednesday night when asked about Vegas and whether the wheels were in motion. “Not yet. I think the whole Vegas venture is fantastic for the game and it puts the sport on such an amazing platform.
“I think KR and Leeds will get to go and experience that this year. It’s something that we may want to be a part of in the future. It’s exciting, just anything that showcases rugby league.
“I was envious watching it last year. I’ll be envious watching KR do it. It’s something we would like to be a part of in the future.”
