Hull FC announce major ticket sales ahead of Castleford Tigers clash

Hull FC are preparing well for their away fixture at the Castleford Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

The club announced today that they have sold over 2000 tickets for the Super League clash as the Black and Whites attempt to win for the third time in four games.

Hull have already overcome the likes of Wakefield Trinity and Salford Red Devils with a defeat to St Helens the only blot on their copybook so far.

Now, a visit to former head coach Lee Radford’s hunting ground is upon the Airlie Birds.

Radford himself has not really enjoyed a good start to his Castleford coaching career, losing all three opening games – and in a disappointing fashion as well.

A home defeat in front of 10,500 on the opening night against Salford Red Devils set the ball rolling for the three consecutive defeats, with losses to Warrington Wolves and Hull KR following.

And, the Tigers will be facing a vociferous away crowd as Hull always travel to the Jungle in big numbers, expectant of victory under Brett Hodgson.

They will have to do without the banned Luke Gale, but Ben McNamara stepped in ably against Salford last weekend with Jake Connor enjoying a tremendous day out with six assists and one try.
