Hull FC and Hull KR confirm kick-off details for Good Friday Super League clash

Hull FC

Hull FC and Hull KR have confirmed the kick-off time for their Good Friday derby clash.

The first Hull derby of the year will take place on Friday, April 3, with the Black and Whites travelling across the River Hull to Craven Park, the home of the treble winners.

That’s something we’ve known since the fixtures were released in late November, but the kick-off time for the game has not been confirmed until today.

The clash in east Hull will get underway at 12.30pm, giving supporters an early start on the Bank Holiday and it’s fair to say that both sides will be going all out to claim the derby spoils.

Rovers have won the last six derbies with FC’s last victory over their nearest and dearest rivals coming in July 2023. That run includes three 2025 meetings with the two sides drawing each other in the Challenge Cup for the first time since 1986.

The Good Friday clash will be the first of three Hull derbies in 2026, too, with the two sides set to meet at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium at Magic Weekend.

That clash will be the prime time game played on the Saturday at Magic, with Leigh Leopards taking on Warrington Wolves and Huddersfield Giants facing York Knights on the same day.

The Easter meeting will be one of three Super League games played on Good Friday and given the Hull derby has been given the early kick-off, St Helens and Wigan Warriors fans can expect their game to be played later in the afternoon.

That derby will take place at the newly named BrewDog Stadium and it will be followed by a highly anticipated contest between Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos at Odsal.
