Hughes expecting tough Castleford game

Warrington Wolves forward Jack Hughes is expecting a tough battle against Castleford Tigers on Sunday.

Super League gets back underway on Sunday, with Wire and Castleford closing proceedings at Headingley Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides come into the match in a similar position, with Head Coaches Steve Price and Daryl Powell confirming the 2021 season will be their last at their respective clubs.

Hughes expects to face nothing but the best of Castleford.

He said: “It could add to it (that both coaches are leaving), every week is a tough game. There is no easy game in the Super League anymore.

“You really have to be at your best to get the points. We expect nothing less from Castleford but their best, whatever their motivation is.

“We are expecting a really good Castleford team on Sunday.”
