Huge Super League transfer all but confirmed

There have been some major signings in recent weeks concerning Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers, Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils and another is on the cards very soon.

It was teased by the club earlier today and needs to be confirmed and that will come within the next 24 hours it seems.

This comes after Catalans Dragons teased a major signing with a video of plane departures leading many to believe they were about to announce a signing and now Ian Watson has confirmed that there will be an announcement in the next 24 hours.

“All I can tell you is that I think there’s going to be an announcement in and around Theo maybe today or Tomorrow, so I’ll let that one unfold,” he said.

He then paid tribute to the halfback.

“I’ll just say the one big for us is that we fully support Theo in the decision that he’s going to come up with, he’s had a really tough two years, mate, to be fair and he’s had to make a decision which is the best decision for him and his family going forward long term.

“He’s been a champion for us and I’ll always be grateful for everything he’s done for us over the last two years in terms of on and off the field.

“Theo’s had to make a decision around a family decision and like I say there’ll probably be news on that probably shortly but I’d just say he’s an absolute champion of a bloke.

“He’s done a lot in the game anyway, he’s won a hell of a lot of things as well and deserves that mate to be fair.

“I mean he’s somebody who I hold massively in the highest regard for what he’s done and the kind of person he is as well. so that’ll probably become clearer in the next 24 hours I should think about where he.

“I’ll let that unfold because I think it’s more his story to tell than anybody else’s.”

It seems fitting that Fages should spend some time in his own country after starring for the likes of St Helens and Salford Red Devils in the past.
