Huge Super League fixture MOVED

There we have already seen some big games as Wigan Warriors and Hull FC, St Helens and Hull KR and of course the big game on Friday night between Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers.

Yesterday Leigh Leopards took on Catalans Dragons in front of the Sky Sports cameras as the Challenge Cup holders met the league leaders.

Today, the action concludes with Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves on the OurLeague App.

A lot has been made of TV coverage lately with the TV deal for 2024 yet to be confirmed with Sky competing with TNT Sports and DAZN.

But as we focus on 2023, more TV coverage has been confirmed.

Sky Sports will focus on two clubs who have made recent changes at the top when they televise Warrington Wolves versus Castleford Tigers on Saturday September 2, as one of the selections for coverage in Round 24.

Gary Chambers has been put in temporary charge of the Wolves until the arrival of Sam Burgess in 2024 as they aim to return to their early-season form and preserve their place in the play-off positions, while Danny Ward has been appointed to succeed Andy Last at Castleford in their battle to avoid relegation.

The match will now kick off at 3pm.

The previous night (Friday September 1), Sky Sports will televise a meeting of two teams with play-off hopes as Wigan Warriors, who are currently second in the table, host seventh-placed Salford Red Devils at the DW Stadium.

It is a huge stage of the Super League season and one that could have ramifications at the top and the bottom.

In fact we are talking about the futures of clubs for years to come due to the changes IMG are set to bring in for 2024 and beyond with an end to traditional relegation and promotion set to come into play, also it is no secret how great it is to lift the Super League trophy.

It’s all to play for.
