Huddersfield v Hull KR: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Tony Smith’s former team host his current team as the Giants look to damage Hull KR’s play-off hopes. Huddersfield have struggled for form in recent games losing to the likes of Warrington and Leeds. Meanwhile, Hull KR’s surge towards the play-off has been stifled by back-to-back defeats. Who’ll claim the all important win in this one.

The big news for Huddersfield is the potential return of Michael Lawrence. He could very well be drafted onto the bench to provide the Giants with another natural prop forward something they’ve perhaps lacked in recent weeks being forced to play backrowers like Owen Trout and Joe Greenwood in the front row. Elsewhere, the Giants won’t make many changes having found a way to offer the young stars in their side more game time.

Meanwhile, the Robins are still having to deal with a number of injuries. This week they’ll again be without Korbin Sims however they will have Matty Storton back in the fold. Meanwhile, I believe Rowan Milnes will be recalled to the halves following last Thursday’s defeat to Wakefield. He’s impressed when called upon this season and could be expected to star again for the Rovers tomorrow.
