Huddersfield Giants vs Wakefield Trinity: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

A West Yorkshire derby with very little to play for other than local pride with both sides securing their goals already with Huddersfield set for a third place finish – their second highest ever – and Wakefield remarkably settled in 10th after spending most of the year battling to stay above 12th.

For Wakefield this represents a chance for them to maintain their momentum so that they have something to build on in 2023.

As for Huddersfield, they can pick up a 12th home win of the season generating momentum going into the play-offs. It would also see them mathematically secure third though it’s unlikely that a very rotated Catalans side will beat Wigan tonight.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 19:45.

There is no live coverage of the game but highlights will be shown by BBC on the Super League Show.

Predicted Line-ups

Huddersfield Giants
Ian Watson will likely look to generate momentum for the play-offs with a strong squad but anyone with a niggle will likely be absent. Chris McQueen could return to the backrow as Seb Ikahihifo could also figure for the first time since injury. Meanwhile, there may be a spot for Ash Golding on the bench – a last chance for Huddersfield’s Jack of All Trades to cement his spot on the bench in a battle with Adam O’Brien.
