Huddersfield Giants vs Hull FC: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

In an intriguing cup tie, two of the Super League’s best sides of 2022 meet with a place in the Challenge Cup semi-finals up for grabs.

Huddersfield underlined their potential last week as they defeated Catalans. On the back of that, they will back themselves not only to defeat Hull but also to go all the way to the Challenge Cup Final in 2022.

The same could be said of Hull FC who, despite defeat to Wigan last week, have started 2022 strongly and have the ability to challenge the top teams based on their display at the DW Stadium last week.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 17:00.

TV coverage starts at 16:30 on Premier Sports 1.

Predicted Line-ups

Huddersfield Giants
Unfortunately after a superb start to 2022 Olly Russell will miss out on Huddersfield’s biggest game of the season owing to concussion. His absence compounds that of Will Pryce through suspension after a dangerous tackle against Hull FC when the two teams met in the league. Fortunately, Ian Watson can trust Theo Fages and Jack Cogger to start in the halves whilst Tui Lolohea figures at fullback. The majority of the team will remain the same as Watson looks to maintain their momentum.

Hull FC
As Huddersfield lose a halfback to injury, Hull FC welcome one back from injury in the shape of Josh Reynolds. If he does return, it poses a question for Brett Hodgson to answer: what does he do with star signing Joe Lovodua. Will he move to nine or perhaps the backrow or will he figure as an impact sub?
