Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce has been hit with a monster ban after being red carded by referee Liam Moore for a dangerous tackle.
The victim was Hull FC’s Connor Wynne who was thrown around and then dumped on his neck in a tackle that unsurprisingly sparked the ire of Wynne’s teammates.
Huddersfield head coach Ian Watson had his own say on the incident, stating that he could have no complaints about the decision.
“It’s a big learning lesson for him,” Watson said.
“He’s devastated in the changing room. Will knows he’s messed up.
“Now he has to lick his wounds and see what the consequences are.”
And, now Pryce has learned his verdict at a tribunal tonight, with a ten-game ban given to him.
Pryce was sent off for a dangerous throw during his side’s Betfred Super League match with Hull FC last weekend and referred to tribunal by the Match Review Panel on a Grade F charge. Pryce had previously been found guilty of a dangerous throw during an Academy game against Bradford Bulls in May 2021. He is also fined £500.
