Huddersfield Giants have revealed some amazing social media numbers for 2022.

Their audience reach went up by 134% on Facebook and 121% on Instagram. Likewise, page views were up by 146 on Facebook and 37% on Instagram.

Followers have dramatically increased with 153% more on Facebook and a huge 754% increase on instagram.

They made a huge 17 million impressions on Twitter which is 7 million more than 2021.

They believe this will help impress IMG as they released the following statement:

“With 2022 now behind us, the Giants off-field team reflected on a successful year of digital work.

“There is no doubt that new strategic partners IMG will focus heavily with clubs on their digital presence and the Giants team of Tim Burton, Cameron Deacon and Connor Murphy have delivered numbers previously unseen by the claret and gold, such as one minute video views rising up to 376.2k minutes, while also boosting the Facebook and Twitter impressions from 17.7 million from 10.5 million compared to 2021.

“We also had an impressive time on LinkedIn over the past month, with a huge thanks to our commercial team, with The Giants top ranking for posts and engagement, up 56.3% compared to the last 30 days with 25 posts.

“We were also Third ranking for new growth of followers, up 44.6% with 81 new followers in the current 30 day time period compared to the last 30 days.  ”

Richard Thewlis, Giants Managing Director added: “There is superb progress which is clear for all to see in the above numbers, as I am sure Social Media will be a key area where IMG will focus.

“Our content and subsequent results have been clear to see for which the team deserve immense credit. We lost Conor Murphy in November but his replacement Lucas has slotted in seamlessly alongside Tim and Cameron and, as all young people do, brought further freshness and ideas to us.

“I look forward as am sure we all do to seeing more of their innovative content across all our social media channels. “
