The team news is in for Lebanon vs Jamaica.

It’s a must win game for Lebanon who want to confirm their place in the last eight with a win.

A victory would indeed see them meet World Cup holders Australia in next week’s quarter-finals and Wigan Warriors flyer Abbas Miski is set to feature in the game with the chance of coming up against some of the world’s best on the cards with a win.

On the other wing, Josh Mansour, who is looking for a club and could join Super League, features.

Adam Doueihi returns from his ban for “foul and abusive language” towards a match official to fill the void left at fullback for Lebanon.

As for Jamaica skipper Ash Golding starts at loose-forward which is a role he has never played in Super League before.

A fullback by trade, he has played on the wing for Huddersfield Giants in 2022 as well as at nine which is a role he played for Leeds Rhinos in 2018.

He was given the number 13 shirt but started at nine against Ireland as he did against New Zealand but plays his first ever game in the role.

His Huddersfield Giants teammate Michael Lawrence starts at prop whilst the scorer of Jamaica’s first World Cup try ex-Leeds Rhinos star Ben Jones-Bishop is at fullback.
