Huddersfield Giants winger Elliot Wallis has joined Castleford Tigers on loan until the end of the Super League season.
It’s been a difficult season for Wallis, who has struggled for traction and opportunities, but he’ll be hoping to make more of an impact at Wheldon Road, with six games left to play. The Tigers find themselves with little to play for this season having won just five matches all year.
However, Wallis will be keen to help them end the season on a high and build some momentum as they prepare for the start of a new era under a new head coach in 2026. The winger certainly needs to impress too after seeing his career stall significantly.

The Yorkshireman has made just three appearances for the Giants this season, with his last coming in February as Luke Robinson’s side lost to Leigh Leopards in round two. He joined Leeds Rhinos on loan shortly after but he failed to make it into Brad Arthur’s first-team plans during his time at Headingley.
As such, he returned to the Accu Stadium without making a senior appearance with his only game time coming in the second string.
He’ll be in a determined mood as he re-joins the Tigers then, particularly as the club face off against Leeds this week.
Wallis spent two seasons with Castleford earlier in his career, joining the club from hometown club Hull KR ahead in 2022 season. He made just 13 appearances for the Tigers with four tries coming along the way, before joining the Giants in 2024.
He made five appearances for the Robins as a youngster back in 2018, while he also counts York Knights and Coventry Bears/Midlands Hurricanes as former clubs.
