Huddersfield Giants stars past and present have teamed up with the Giants’ Community Trust to try can crack down on knife crime in young adults.

Eorl Crabtree, Jermaine McGillvary, Suaia Matagi and Oliver Roberts have all got on board with the scheme, that aims to spread the word over knife crime to young people of Huddersfield.

The club and Community Trust work through delivering assemblies in local schools to advise and warn of the affects knife crime has on the community and families.

Club Ambassador, Eorl Crabtree said: “In this time, with damning knife crime statistics shocking our community, we need to stand together, as role models and make sure Young Adults know the risks – knife crime is not a game, and there are no winners.

“I’d like to thank Darren Evans and the guys at Rollsteady Media, as well as all the players involved and the Trust for their help with this campaign, that we hope will make a difference to the community we all live in.”

The Giants’ Community Trust created the following video to spread awareness of the campaign.
