Huddersfield Giants have confirmed that six players will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
That was revealed last night as part of the Giants’ end-of-season awards night where veteran Leroy Cudjoe cleaned up with the trophies.
Cudjoe was named as the Players’ Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year and also earned both the Outstanding Achievement Award and the Wagstaff Trophy.
It’s been a brilliant season for the former centre who has found form in the pack but after his five awards, it was confirmed that six players will depart the club.
Of those six, the destination of two is already known but the future of the other four remains unclear.
The Giants will be hoping for one final send-off to those players when they host Castleford Tigers on Thursday night in the only game of the round where there is nothing on the line, barring pride.
