How to watch Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves on Freeview

Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves captains on Freeview

It’s been dubbed the biggest game for Super League in its history when Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves meet in Las Vegas.

It will be the first Super League game to be played in the USA and both clubs have fully played into the event.

The quadruple header also features 2 NRL games as well as an international game between Australia and England’s women’s sides.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, we’re sure you’ve seen all of the promotion and razzmatazz surrounding the Vegas trip as Super League looks to try another new market outside of the UK.

Rugby league has certainly embraced the Vegas way, with plenty of fan events going on in the city and it looks like the clubs are taking it all in too.

For those of us who haven’t travelled to the US, all four games will be shown across Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action from 8.30pm on Saturday to 6.30am on Sunday.

Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves will also be shown on Sky Showcase in the UK from 8.30pm.

For those who don’t have a Sky Sports subscription, the game will also be shown on Sky Mix, Freeview channel 11 and Freesat channel 141.

This means there’s a chance of an even bigger audience over here, with free-to-air rugby league usually being just a handful of Super League and Challenge Cup games every season via the BBC.

Both Wigan and Warrington are enjoying their Vegas trip but both head coaches will be fully focused on the game come kick-off.

Wigan Warriors coach Matt Peet said: “My job is to manage the group and make sure they’re as prepared as they can be but I still want them to enjoy it but there are things we need to get right in terms of rest.”

Warrington Wolves boss Sam Burgess echoes Peet’s thoughts and is excited about the experience for himself and his players.

He said: “I want to soak it up and take something out of the experience by getting a performance over there next Saturday.”
