How to watch Super League on TV this week with BBC coverage featuring St Helens

Since the start of the English Football League season, the way to watch Super League on TV has been slightly different.

The introduction of Sky Sports+ means not every game is available on Sky Sports’ mainstream channels – instead being split between the new service and the TV channels.

This move has been lamented by many, with the Sky Sports app – which has to be used instead of Sky Go for Sky Sports+ coverage – having stability issues when streaming, while those with old Sky boxes are unable to access the service.

However, every game is still available from Sky Sports in some way, as was promised ahead of this season.

There are two Super League games on Friday night available to watch on TV – with Hull KR vs Salford Red Devils a huge game for the top of the table and the fight to stay in the playoffs.

This one is live on Sky Sports Action, as the only game on Friday night available via Sky TV channels.

Also on is Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves, on Sky Sports+ (via Red Button) and Super League+.

Both are at 8pm.

Then, on Saturday, Hull FC take on Castleford Tigers on Sky Sports+ (via Red Button) and Super League+ at 3pm.

The Sky Sports Action pick sees Catalans Dragons host Wigan Warriors as they both aim to get their respective seasons back on track in their fight for a playoff spot and the League Leaders’ Shield.

This one is a late one, kicking off at 8pm.

On Sunday, Leeds Rhinos travel to Plough Lane to face London Broncos, live on Sky Sports+ (via Red Button) and Super League+.

That one is at 3pm, but at 3.05pm, we have BBC TWO coverage of Huddersfield Giants against St Helens.

That is also available on Sky Sports + (via Red Button) and Super League+.
