How to watch St Helens v Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors v Hull FC and NRL on TV

Rugby League on TV cameras Super League

The Super League takes a break this weekend with most top flight sides in Challenge Cup action this week. Just two games will be shown from the fourth round of the Challenge Cup, with St Helens’ home tie against Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors’ clash with Hull FC being selected to be put in front of the cameras.

That means that unlike normal weeks there will be a shortage of English rugby league available to watch on the television this week. However, there’s still plenty of NRL action for fans to get their teeth into, with Sky Sports showing three games over the course of the weekend.

As always every NRL game will be aired on subscription based Watch NRL, with games being spread across the week.

Here’s all the information you need to watch all the rugby league this week.

Thursday 13th March

With no Super League on, the only game on Thursday comes from Down Under as Newcastle Knights play the Dolphins. That one is on Watch NRL.

Friday 14th March

Those wanting to watch St Helens v Leeds Rhinos should direct themselves to YouTube as that’s where that game will be. The two sides will be going at it for spot in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals as The Sportsman will be showing that one.

Sky Sports will be showing Penrith Panthers v Sydney Roosters, which could be a something of a one-sided round two clash if last week is anything to go by, while New Zealand Warriors will be keen to bounce back from their opening day defeat against Manly Sea Eagles on Watch NRL.

Saturday 15th March

Wigan Warriors v Hull FC was the Challenge Cup fourth round tie selected by the BBC, but they won’t be putting the game on terrestrial TV. Instead they’ll be making the game available to stream on iPlayer or the Red Button.

Canberra Raiders take on Brisbane Broncos in Saturday’s NRL offering on Sky Sports, while two games will be shown live on Watch NRL.

Sunday 16th March

There’ll be no English games shown on TV on Sunday, but Sky Sports viewers will be able to watch Canterbury Bulldogs vs Gold Coast Titans. Parramatta Eels-Wests Tigers is on Watch NRL.
