We’re moving into the final week of professional rugby league this year, but that means some huge games are on the horizon.
International rugby league is live on TV throughout Sunday, and this starts as PNG face Samoa for a spot in the Women’s Pacific Cup time time round, with the losers dropping down to the Pacific Championships.
That comes at 12:40am on Sky Sports Mix and Watch NRL.
After that comes the Women’s Pacific Cup final, where two heavyweights face each other in Australia v New Zealand, with a 2.50am kick-off – also on Sky Sports Mix and Watch NRL.
Slightly more savoury for a UK audience is a kick-off time of 5.05am, and this sees Australia face Tonga in the Men’s Pacific Cup final where the victors will be crowned the best side in the Pacific, live on Sky Sports Mix and Watch NRL again.
After that, completing a Sky Sports Mix and Watch NRL clean sweep sees a Super League-heavy PNG Kumuls side face New Zealand for a spot in the Men’s Pacific Cup next year after they won the Pacific Championships, with the side which includes Hull KR man Peta Hiku looking to avoid a shock at 7.20am.
The Kumuls side includes Super League names such as Leigh Leopards’ Lachlan Lam, Salford Red Devils duo Nene Macdonald and Esan Marsters and Castleford Tigers trio Judah Rimbu, Sylvester Namo and Liam Horne.
