There are 16 rugby league games that will be broadcast live on TV for your viewing pleasure this week, in what is set to be an action-packed weekend.
Kicking things off with some representative rugby, game one of the Women’s State of Origin series takes place on Thursday morning, as the Blues take on the Maroons in the first of three heavyweight clashes.
Thursday night sees Super League round 10 kick off, with Hull KR taking on Castleford Tigers in a game that could see up to three Tigers players making their debut given their recent additions.
On Friday, there are four matches, two from each side of the world as Canterbury Bulldogs and The Dolphins welcome North Queensland Cowboys and Melbourne Storm respectively.
In the evening, Leeds Rhinos take on Wakefield Trinity and St Helens host York Knights – a game that could see Nene MacDonald make his return.
Saturday sees six games take place, three from the NRL and three from Super League. Those northern hemisphere-based games including Wigan Warriors v Bradford Bulls, a game that will be broadcast on BBC iPlayer, and Catalans Dragons v Leigh Leopards. Huddersfield Giants v Warrington Wolves rounds out Saturday’s bumper schedule.
