There is a stacked schedule of rugby league on TV this week, with games ranging from Leeds v Wigan to the NRL’s final round.
A total of 23 games are set to be broadcast in some way, shape or form, and here is how you can watch each and every one of them.
Starting on Thursday, the opening game of the NRL’s round 26 sees Canterbury host Brisbane, before Super League’s action begins that same day, with Bradford hosting Castleford.
On Friday, it will be an emotional moment for all involved, as South Sydney Rabbitohs’ Jai Arrow takes to the NRL field for the final time, after he was diagnosed with MND earlier this year. Arrow has been given special permission this week and last week to take to the field, meaning he will accumulate 100 NRL appearances.
He will lead the team out before being substituted instantly for Cody Walker, his long-time friend and teammate. Souths have been granted an extra substitution and bench player as a result.
Three Super League games take place in the evening, with the headline game being Leigh v St Helens in a game that could see Saints’ play-off hopes come to an end if they fail to win.
On Saturday, there is action from the NRL, NRLW, Championship, Super League and Women’s Super League in what is a stacked day for rugby league fans.
The big game, of course, sees Wigan travel to Leeds for a game that could decide the League Leaders’ Shield. Before that game, the respective women’s sides will do battle one week after Wigan secured the League Leaders’ Shield following a 26-20 win over the Rhinos.
The weekend’s action is rounded out by the NRL and NRLW, with Super League yet again not having any games on a Sunday.
