All rugby league on TV this week across Super League and NRL

Thursday 20th March

The first NRL match-up is a rematch of the 2024 Grand Final between Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers. The Storm currently sit at the top of the table with Penrith having a slow start to the season sitting in 10th position.

Thursday’s Super League offering is a bottom-of-the-table clash between Salford Red Devils and Huddersfield Giants.

Salford look set to still be operating on a £1.2 million salary cap but will be taking the positives from their 26-16 Challenge Cup victory over Bradford Bulls last Friday.

Huddersfield now only have Super League to concentrate on after their 22-12 loss to Wakefield on Sunday afternoon.

Friday 21st March

There are two live NRL and Super League games showing on Friday.

Two teams who will be hoping to claim higher than their current respective 11th and 13th positions are New Zealand Warriors and Sydney Roosters.

Both sides lost in round one but secured victories last time out, with the Warriors beating Manly Sea Eagles 36-16 and Sydney claiming a 38-32 victory over reigning champions Penrith Panthers.

In the other NRL fixture, North Queensland Cowboys will be hoping to get their first points of the 2025 season as they travel to Brisbane Broncos.

The Broncos were a pre-season favourite to challenge for the title but suffered a 32-22 loss to Canberra Raiders last weekend.

In Super League, St Helens will face Warrington Wolves, with the game live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action.

Whilst both sides made it to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup last week, their last Super League games ended in defeat.

The other Super League game features Wakefield Trinity and Hull FC.

Both teams have two wins to their name but Hull FC’s draw against Leigh sees them sit two positions ahead of Wakefield in 5th with one point more.

First up is Cronulla Sharks v South Sydney Rabbitohs, with the Rabbitohs looking for their third win on the bounce.
