There are 23 rugby league matches set for broadcast this week, with the Men’s and Women’s Super League, NRL, NRLW and reserves competition all seeing games streamed.
The week kicks off with a tasty tie between Brisbane and Melbourne in the NRL, before tonight [Thursday] we celebrate the life of Sir Billy Boston, who died earlier this week at the age of 92.
Wigan Warriors will host a special tribute to rugby league’s first-ever knight before their game against Hull KR, and it will include Jerusalem being sung before a minute’s silence.
On Friday, there are two NRL games to begin the day, before three Super League ties take place in the evening. Before St Helens take on Leeds Rhinos in the men’s competition, the women’s game will see Saints take on York Valkyrie live on Sky Sports.
Saturday’s action commences at 3:45am, with six matches from down under available to watch. In the evening, two Super League ties kick-off at 5:30pm, including Wakefield v York, which will be shown live on BBC Two.
With no Super League action on Sunday, fans can watch only the NRL and NRLW, though there is a Reserves semi-final between Warrington and Leeds; that requires a paid monthly membership to Warrington’s YouTube Channel.
