How Hull KR could line up in 2025 with four new signings including Leeds Rhinos man

Hull KR Willie Peters

Hull KR beat Warrington Wolves to go top of Super League on Friday but they’re only just getting started with Willie Peters building an elite squad for 2025.

So far, the Robins have already confirmed the signing of five players and they’re reported to have landed Leeds Rhinos star Rhyse Martin as well.

Should Martin sign then it’s likely that four of their five additions would make the club’s starting 13 in 2025, highlighting how much they’re set to strengthen what is already a brilliant squad.

With such big incomings, there is of course set to be some star departures with Ryan Hall confirmed to exit and head back to Leeds Rhinos, whilst out-of-contract Matt Parcell is another set to leave Craven Park.

Despite those losses, Hull KR looks set to have one of the strongest Super League sides in 2025 and here’s how they could line up if reported signings happen.

How Hull KR could line up in 2025

Full-back: Niall Evalds

No surprise here and no change with Niall Evalds having shone in his first season at Craven Park. At one stage, Evalds led Super League for most assists with 15 to his name. He’s added a further two since then and has also picked up six tries.

Wingers: Tom Davies and Joe Burgess

Tom Davies is a tailor-made replacement for Ryan Hall with the back incredibly physical and also incredibly underrated. He’ll join Joe Burgess who has firmly made the right wing his own this season but likely will move to the left after Hall departs.

Centres: Peta Hiku and Oliver Gildart

Both Hiku and Gildart have been among the very best centres in Super League this season when fit, Hiku in particular who is yet to miss a game. Signed to play at full-back, his return to centre has seen him shine. Meanwhile, Gildart has been a consistent performer and still is only 28.

Half-backs: Tyrone May and Mikey Lewis

Mikey Lewis could well head into the 2025 season as the reigning Man of Steel with his form in 2024 certainly worthy of being considered for the award. He is tied with Matt Dufty for try contributions this year, making 19 and scoring 13 of his own. Tyrone May has complimented him brilliantly with May proving to be another savvy signing.

Front-Row: Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Micky McIlorum and Sausao Sue

Two more signings feature here with NRL legend Jared Waerea-Hargreaves set to end his career in Super League with Hull KR. He’ll form a bruising combination with Micky McIlorum, another veteran who was recently announced as arriving in 2025. They’ll form a fearsome trio with Sausao Sue who has only improved as the season has progressed, scoring in each of his last two.

Back-Row: Rhyse Martin, James Batchelor and Elliot Minchella

It’s been confirmed that Rhyse Martin will leave Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR is reported to be the destination with the 31-year-old looking like another brilliant addition. He’ll likely partner James Batchelor with captain Elliot Minchella set to play lock.

Bench: Jez Litten, Kelepi Tanginoa, Dean Hadley and Sam Luckley

Hull KR could boast one of the best benches in Super League with Jez Litten an England international and Dean Hadley earning raps to be called up too. Kelepi Tanginoa is one of Super League’s most powerful second-rowers and Sam Luckley is another who packs a punch.
