He had been offered to Super League sides and now ex-Canberra Raiders prop is set to sign on the dotted line

Former Canberra Raiders prop Dunamis Lui is set to sign on the dotted line for a new team.

Fox Sports had revealed in November last year that the 31-year-old had been attracting interest from big northern hemisphere clubs.

Lui was actually born in Brisbane and made his NRL debut for the Broncos back in 2010 before spells at the Manly Sea Eagles and St George Illawarra Dragons took him to the Raiders ahead of the 2017 season.

89 appearances for the Green Machine later, however, and Lui was not offered a new contract and failed to be given another deal in the NRL.

He has now, however, been attracting the attention of new NRL club side The Dolphins, according to The Mole at the World Wide of Sports.

Despite being on the wrong side of 30, Lui has played over 150 NRL games and thus has the experience necessary for the new side to grind out some results.

The Dolphins have been active in the transfer market recently, with the likes of Felise Kaufusi, Jamayne Isaako and Jesse Bromwich all penning deals with what will become the 17th top-flight club Down Under.
