Harry Newman limps off with bad-looking injury for Leeds Rhinos against Wakefield Trinity

Harry Newman had only just returned for Leeds Rhinos against Wakefield Trinity after spending most of the season on the sidelines so far.

After a stellar start – where he poked a hole through the Trinity line on numerous occasions – the Leeds centre limped off with a bad-looking injury with just six minutes gone of the second-half.

It was later stated on Sky Sports by Jenna Brooks that it was a dead leg despite the fact it initially appeared to be another hamstring injury akin to the one that kept him out of the side for the first three games.

It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll be fit for the game against Hull FC next week. The centre scored Leeds’ third try in a 34-18 win having led 30-0 at the break. He, along with skipper Kruise Leeming and David Fusitu’a due to potential suspensions, are now doubts going into next week’s game.
