Yesterday, Halifax caused a stir on social media when they announced the signing of Louis Jouffret in a hilarious video.
Jouffret was their ninth signing heading into 2022 as Simon Grix and his side prepare for what they hope to be a big season.
Today, Halifax continued their preparations with a 10th signing announcing the arrival of Cole Oakley in another hilarious video depicting their mascot hunting down the “young wolf.”
Oakley is a product of the Warrington Wolves academy making his Super League debut last season when he started on the bench against Salford in an enthralling 20-18 midweek defeat.
This season, he joined Newcastle Thunder on loan to continue his development and he clearly caught the eye of Halifax who have now sealed his services for 2022 and beyond.
At just 21 years of age, he has bags of potential and those at Halifax will be hoping to see him fulfil it at the Shay.
Like with Jouffret, Halifax built up a lot of hype around the youngster’s arrival building suspense since this morning before unveiling Oakley as a Panther in a hilarious video package which will rival Jouffret’s announcement video for funniest tweet of the week.
