Halifax re-sign promising forward

Halifax have confirmed that prop Elliot Morris has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The 23-year-old is one of several success stories from Fax’s reserves setup, having made his senior debut in 2016.

He has since gone on to make over 50 appearances for the club, establishing himself as one of the senior members of Simon Grix’s forward pack.

“He’s fit and tough, baseline traits of a front rower, and at 23 he’s got years of improvement left in him,” said Grix.

“He’s a player his team mates enjoy being out there with and I’m looking forward to helping him reach his potential.”
