Halifax Panthers unveil smart home shirt for 2022

2022 could be a massive season for the Halifax Panthers.

The former Super League ever-presents from 1996-2003 have their best shot at promotion for two decades after a winter of brilliant recruitment including the arrival of former Huddersfield and Wakefield hooker Kyle Wood.

A big season requires a good look and Simon Grix’s side certainly have that for 2022 having released their new home shirt this afternoon in a superb video package which highlights the unique and eye catching elements of the new kit as modelled by prop forward Adam Tangata sporting the number 8 jersey. The video also notes the history of the club and the importance of the blue and white army on the terraces.

The shirt adopts the traditional blue and white associated with Halifax. The top portion of the kit is mostly blue whilst white lines cut the blue into a series of squares creating a unique yet smart look at the top of the shirt before transitioning into the traditional blue and white stripes.

Halifax are one of the favourites for promotion in 2022 after finishing third last term and recruiting well bringing in over 10 new signings to add to an already impressive squad.

They’ll have to battle with the likes of Leigh and Featherstone for the place in Super League but they’ll look good doing it in this jersey.
