Halifax Panthers reveal purple away shirt for 2023

Simon Grix, then Halifax Panthers Head Coach, and now Hull FC interim, speaks to the press during a Championship match.

Halifax Panthers have released an interesting purple away shirt for the 2023 season.

The jersey is a very smart and subtle design and certainly modern as the club celebrates its 150th anniversary.

The base is navy blue with purple detailing adorning the design.

The collar is purple which transitions into gold with the club’s crest in gold to celebrate the major anniversary.

The sleeves also have purple rims on them.

There is a subtle seam of purple around the chest whilst laser like strands of purple and white come across the kit.

It follows nicely a much more traditional Halifax shirt in the shape of the blue and white home shirt as the Panthers chase Super League promotion in 2023.

The have signed the likes of World Cup star Jake Maizen who scored a hat-trick during the tournament as well as former Hull KR and Castleford Tigers man Will Maher.

They are also said to be in the market for further signings after all they only have a 24 man squad.

Today the announced the loan signing of Leeds Rhinos halfback Kai Morgan on an initial two week loan.

One of the contenders for promotion, the 150th year is set to be an exciting one for the Panthers.
