Leeds Rhinos have created their first-ever documentary and the ground-breaking piece is set to first air on Friday.
Named ‘Spirit of the Rhinos‘, it’s a four-part documentary following the team across 2024, including pre-season and a turbulent Super League campaign that saw the sacking of Rohan Smith and the side narrowly miss out on the play-offs.
Each episode will be around one hour long, meaning there’ll be four hours of overall content.
Never before have cameras been stationed behind the scenes at the club, but it seems that fans will be getting an ‘All or Nothing’-style documentary, similar to that seen for football teams such as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur – with insights into the changing room and training ground as well as on the pitch.
It will include “never-before-seen access into the world of Leeds Rhinos” and an “insight into the characters within the Rhinos camp”, according to the club itself.
Along with this, there will be interviews with head coaches – Rohan Smith and Brad Arthur – and players, as well as chief executive Gary Hetherington and sporting director Ian Blease.
How to access the new Leeds Rhinos documentary
To watch this, you’ll have to head to the SuperLeague+ platform.
Episodes will be released every fortnight – presumably on Fridays given that’s the day the first episode is first available.
Leeds Rhinos adult and concession ‘season members’ will have free access, but others will have to pay £9.99 per episode to watch.
Membership starts from only £220 for adults and £175 for concessions – who are classes as Senior Citizens, 17-23 year olds and people with disabilities, if you don’t fancy paying £40 pounds for the full thing.
