Greg Inglis reveals why he moved to Warrington Wolves

Greg Inglis has revealed just why he signed for Warrington after spending the last few days with Wolves players before heading back to Australia.

The world-renowned centre came back out of retirement to sign for Warrington ahead of the 2021 season in what was an incredible move.

Unfortunately for Inglis and the Wire, the Aussie made just three appearances, scoring two tries in the process, before succumbing to injury.

That injury left Inglis fighting for his rugby league career once more – something which, this time, could not be overcome.

Instead, the 34-year-old hung up his boots for good towards the back end of the 2021 season, taking up a voluntary role at the Halliwell Jones, before announcing he would be leaving for Down Under.

And, now that time has come to say goodbye with Inglis sharing a lovely few moments with Warrington teammates on his story, including Jason Clark and Stefan Ratchford and their families.

But, Inglis has spoken that Clark was the major reason behind his decision to move to the UK.

“This guy @jaceclark is the real reason I embarked on this journey and made the the trip to the Uk. Since the end of 2010 I just couldn’t ask for a better friend.. you’re my brother from another mother.. @jaceclark you put everyone first instead of yourself.. you’re the best dad, husband, friend and will always be one of my best mates for life.. like I always say ‘you do you Clarky’”.
