Chris Hill is leaving Warrington at the end of the season after giving over a decade of service to the Wolves. But how did social media react?
One supporter couldn’t believe Hill wasn’t given another deal.
Got to seriously question the clubs judgement in not giving @Chrishilly1987 a new two year deal here. He’s been immense for us for the last ten years and still one of the best around. When you look at what’s available to replace him, a new deal should’ve been a no brainier.

That sentiment was echoed by another Wire supporter.

Simple for me, if we haven't got a big prop lined up, and one that's not Joe Bullock,Not sure on Harrison as haven't seen him, he should have been kept. Then the pack will be smaller and beaten more often than it is now, doesn't matter who's in the backs

It seems this was the consensus.
You better be replacing him. Had a cracking season after not being captain. Deserved another contracted

Another wanted to send Hill off in the best way possible.
Great player for the wire. 10 years wow cant believe been that long. One of my favourite players. Even when form dropped never hid, and always led from the front. Good luck in future lets hope a good end of season

Another couldn’t believe he had been at Warrington over a decade.
We're going to miss Hilly up front. 10 years of always giving his all up front. Good luck with the rest of your career. 👏👏👏

Another questioned the decision to replace Hill with Joe Bullock.
Will take some replacing – has been a brilliant solid prop for us, rarely injured – doesn’t take a backward step. Think it’s a huge mistake to not keep him , if Bullock is his replacement we are going backwards

Another Wire fan called on more forward recruitment.
Big mistake Wire, the pack isn’t big enough as it is and we’re letting Hilly walk away. Coops can’t do it all on his own, so reinforcements needed big time.

However, there was one fan who believed it was the right decision.
Yeah feels correct decision really. Just wish we had a prop or two coming in. Seem to be stocking up in backs and forgetting about the front row. We are so poor
