Salford Red Devils trail 12-10 at halftime against Hull KR despite having the weight of possession.
They also had a few tries disallowed including one for Kallum Watkins.
This was one of a number of “tough calls” Salford boss Paul Rowley questioned as he spoke to Sky Sports.
“It’s easy to point the errors out but I think you have to credit Hull KR’s defence. Their scramble defence and resilience has stopped a few tries if I’m honest,” he said.
“I don’t want to focus on the negatives but we have scored a try that wasn’t awarded.
“I think we have had some tough calls go against us to be honest.
“We thought it was a try but he thought his ball carrying arm hit the deck.”
Jon Wilkin has since described it as Salford being “robbed” and the Red Devils have had another try disallowed for Tim Lafai.
Now former Salford star Jackson Hastings has slammed the decisions saying “you gotta get them right.”
He took to Twitter:
“Two dead set try’s disallowed. Come on man, gotta get them right.”
