Gold Coast Titans target David Fifita

According to The Courier-Mail, the Gold Coast Titans have officially expressed their interest in signing young Brisbane Broncos star David Fifita.

The report states that the Titans have contacted Fifita’s management in the hope of arranging a meeting between club and player.

They are reportedly able to table an offer of $3.2 million over four years, which is far superior to anything that the Broncos can offer the Origin front-rower.

Brisbane are still hopeful that they can retain his services and are expected to offer the star a one or two-year deal, with the intentions of upgrading the contract afterwards.

“I’m not too sure what I’m going to do to be honest,” Fifita explained to The Courier-Mail.

“I’m happy at the Broncos.”

“(But) It’s a business at the end of the day… you know how it works.”

The 19-year old only made his debut in 2018, yet has already amassed 35 first grade games.

He made his Origin debut for the Maroons last year, represented Australia at the World Nines and also played for the Indigenous All Stars last weekend.
